Lets get out there and support these events.While you may think they dont mean much, the revenue they generate is a necessity to keep high school football going. So leave your sack lunch at home and buy a bottle of water and a hotdog at these games and support our boys.

I'm not a fan of twitter but I follow coach M and LM. You would be amazed at the ex LM players that log on and leave a blurb about their pride and learning's from their time there. I am in awe of vibe I see coming from that program.

Can you imagine how lopsided some of these matchups would be if the pads were on? Rancho Cucamonga vs Northview or South El Monte? With the pads on, Rancho would not need to even throw a pass.

I am also a huge fan of coaches and programs that are so enthusiastic like these guys. I just wonder, though, if there is a fatigue factor once they get to the playoffs. When do they take any time off?

The city section had a rule that said you couldn't wear uniforms where a school colors weren't the primary color...a set of Nike Pro Combats got a bunch of games forfeited.

With the news today of the Sierra League being renamed the Palomares League beginning in 2014, I think you can now see what I mean about the Sierra/Palomares likely being in the Southeast Div. with the Hacienda.

Most well established Catholic high schools have all those things listed by Spartan Pride. At AMAT we have much of the same , great boosters, Alums and many generous people who have established endowments and scholarships for all who meet the certain critiria for the different scholarships or assitance if needed . AMAT is lucky to have so many faithful backers and they are deeply appreciated . Just imagine what schools like MD and RSM have in their war chests . Usually with the privates football brings in some of the funds to support other programs on campus . Just think of all the cars you see parked on our campus during games as 5 dollar bills and more from the tailgate section parking .

Hey, hey, hey. Watch it there buddy. lol. Have you ever been to Eugene? It's not Los Angeles. Our uniforms made Oregon an attractive place for athletes to come play and have fun. Don't hate on us. We do what we do for us. We cannot help it if copy cats have gone the same route.

On another note, no one should be surprised that the multiple uniform combinations are starting to make their way to the high school level.

Oregon is GREAT, but where are the National titles? How many uniform variations do Alabama, USC, Oklahoma, LSU, et al have? Just home and away using only school colors. No extra colors added in. No "blackouts" like UGA tried when Bama kicked their tails a few years back. Tradition never graduates. Make your school colors cool.

Got it. Either way, I think the Pacific is out as well. Only Muir has proven to be somewhat competitive in the SE and the league should drop to the Mid-Valley. And it'll make the Mid-Valley a slightly better and more interesting division.

And a COMPLETE stretch here, but maybe combining the RHL and the Pacific in the same football division might go a long way in combining the two leagues into a conference during the next re-leaguing cycle. But that's a different topic...

What you'll need to do is add up the record of the Pacific League in the Southeast Div. for the 2012 and 2013 seasons. That's ALL CIF considers when it does re-divisioning. Nothing further back than THE PAST TWO YEARS ... in 2012, the Pacific was 1-2. And the strength of the league will be even worse this year. More struggles and their will be a push to get them out. The Sierra is the natural replacement.
